Navigate to next unread message

Question
-
Is there a way to easily jump to the next unread message in the list of forums. I have "My Forums" and by clicking many times I can get unread messages in one of the forums but I cannot find an easy way (single click) to jump to the next unread message in all my forums. This make reading the forums quite a long winded process. When I select the next forum I first get all messages and then have to filter to unread messages. On a slow(ish) connection this is very time consuming

I cannot find an easy way (single click) to jump to the next unread message in all my forums.
The only existing useful procedure is to use the preview page sorted by Most Recent Post. Then be aware of when you last were here and either work down to that point or start up from that point.Useful enhancements would be:
1. fixing the Last Reply link so that it does something useful in both the preview page and when used to open threads in a new tab.
2. fixing the RSS feed so that it refers to Last Reply and shows its content.
If the latter was done in many cases you wouldn't even need to do any more "clicking"; you could just scan and read or click once and instantly find yourself in a new tab at the appropriate thread context. ; )

I agree. The lack of the easy way to tract new unread itemsa is enough to make me want to go back to a newsreader. For me the other benefits do not add up to enough value to make up for the huge increase in time needed to keep up with the forum content. It used to take me less than 15 minutes once or twice a week to stay up to date using a newsreader. It now takes more than a hour to do the same thing and I just don't have that much time to spare.
