Windows7 ultimate displaying not genuine after 6mths useage RRS feed

  • Question

  • In March 2011 I purchased a factory recon. Acer Aspire 8920G, supplied with Vista home on a 320gb C drive, I immediately upgraded this with a genuine version of Win7 ult. in a sealed box with a genuine key. Thereafter activated and employed automatic updates and had no problems. In December 2011 I upgraded my C drive to 640gb and did a clean install using the same disc as before, activated and employed automatic updates (this included SP1) and have also installed 'virtual XP3' about 2 months ago, no problem. all this requires automatic validation checks, OK until 19.6.12.

On 19.6.12 I was setting up a security camera for the first time from tenvis.com that required restarting to configure the setup tool, after restarting I got the message saying my version of Win7 ult. not genuine, reason that the program was in use by another computer, I cannot contact microsoft as to what/where is this fictitious computer. Has the tenvis program given my computer a new identity?

    can you help?

The Key in use is an MSDN Key. Unless you are an MSDN subscriber, you are not entitled to use the Key – and whoever sold it to you was not entitled to do so.  Your Windows Key is from a not-for-resale MSDN account.  You need to claim an immediate refund from the vendor - do NOT accept the offer of a new key.(all they are trying to do is to get past the 45-day claims window. or avoid you sending the evidence of their crimes to the authorities)
Please read the following stickies.... ..................................
    and
The pirates have got VERY good at this over the past few years, as the price of equipment for manufacturing the packages drops, and as factories open in less well-policed countries.
    see also this post....
Also - have a look at this video....

Your Office installation also shows as being counterfeit - because of using a Blocked Volume Kicense Key.
