  • Hi Team,

    I have a doubt regarding CRM versioning.I am unable to find what is my organisation last update version (whether it is last updated in 2012 or 2013 rollup update)

    If you observe the following screen shot

    This is what i got the current version my organisation crm.But when i searched it over internet for this version i did not get any result . What is my organisation last update rollup ? (we are using only CRM online)

    Please help me out to resolve this issue..

  • CRM Online will always have the latest update released and any hotfixes that Microsoft adds to the rollups. Your organization would be on CRM 2011 UR 14 and includes some hotfixes that are only applied to CRM Online. These hotfixes will eventually be released to the on-premise version as part of next roll-up.That is the reason you don't find a exact match with the UR versions published.

    So by your words i understood that,for online CRM we don't need to do upgrades manually it will only update itself with the new releases right?

  • Yes, that is correct. The upgrade process (including all rollups, hotfixes) is done by Microsoft themselves. The CRM administrator will be informed about any major upgrade (Example CRM 2013) and can also schedule the upgrade date.

    If you know any information regarding CRM 2013 prechecklist like what should we check mainly before upgradation?

    or anything important information reg CRM 2013 upgardation?
