Automatic Tune-Up and Anti-virus protection RRS feed

I am running Vista x64.  Everytime I start Window.  The Window One Care Icon in the Icon Tray is red.  The Window automatic update is off.  I have to manually turn it back on.  Sometimes the Anti-Virus protection is off.   The Anti-Virus protection cannot be turned on.  I have to restart the computer.  Is there a fix on that?  I have tried re-installing One Care.  It did not help.

  • The Windows Updates being turned off warning is a mysterious problem that I don't yet know the possible cause of.

If the antivirus protection is turned off at startup, it either indicates corruption, a conflict of some sort, or a dependent service failing to be started when OneCare needs it to be started.

My recommendation is that you contact support for help.
