Need a client for Microsoft forum

Hi
I wanted to setup my Windows Live for forums NNTP, as i used to earlier, i came to know that this has been stopped and now only web based forums are available. is it ture? if so how can i setup my outlook, windows live or any other client on my PC to reply and read posts from MSDN forums

No I'm afraid u can use NNTP by enabling it in your "My Settings", just after loggin in, u can see it stands at right position. Click that to config for this:

i enabled the setting you mentioned, how can i configure my Windows Live MAil for using forums client, as i used to do earlier.

A recent discovery I made, have you ever tried "MSDN Forum Assistant, TechNet Forum Assistant" - http://www.microsoft.com/en-za/download/details.aspx?id=27747
Its a Widows Desktop Gadget linked to MSDN Forums.
