How to automatically send pending emails RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello

I have a workflow set up to "Send Email" but the emails just sit as Pending until the user manually Sends them.

How can i get these emails to send automatically the moment they are created (and not be in Pending status at all)?

  • in the workflow, are you using a step to create email or send email? Please use send email step.

also please check if the owner of workflow has permissions to send email.

  • In order to send email, you should have at least one of the following component

    1. CRM Outlook client

    2. Email router

    3. Server side syncronication (New in CRM 2013)

Otherwise, your CRM itself will only create an email and never send it.

  • also note it will have only 11 tries, after that u must do unsupported DB manipulation or send them in supported way one by one manual again..

  • Hello Jithesh,

    Thank you for the suggestions.

    I have "Send Email" selected.

The criteria to send an email is whenever a Service Activity Record is Created, Status is changed, Fields Change or the record is deleted.  So it should cover any situation and still nothing.

I am the Owner of the Workflow and in every other situation I am able to send emails.

Any other suggestions as to why the emails are not sending?
