Should I defragment my WHS drives? What about using included "Backup" for System drive? RRS feed

  • Question

  • Plainly put, should I defragment my WHS drives? I would only use built-in defragmenter.

Also, what about using the other system tools? Windows Backup is also available. Can this be used to backup my WHS partition in case I need to reload onto a new disk later? Or just basically let WHS do its own thing all the time, unsupervised?

    Thanks.

It's not supported (because it requires server desktop access).

    See my first response. :)

    Same as above. :)

Pretty much.  Just let it take care of itself.
