let us discuss the details of how many of u guys have been placed an in which company.....

so those wishin to join a particular dream company an one of the guys is placed in one of them................ it could really be helpful in sharin knowledge to them abt. selection process.. so pls share ur views.......

Hi, I am placed in TCS LTd., waiting for my joining date to come, which is expected to be around October or September.

So, I will be joining it.

There are 3 from our college who got placed in Patni Computer Systems (PCS). They aint doing anything in Studentrockstar so just thought of informing you.

Congrats sandeed.

Please post the recruitment patterns, and the interview questions you faced.

Also guys i would request you all, who have got placed, to post the email addresses of the HR manager, so that the ones who have not got recruited can atleast email them their resumes and can try their luck.

i can compelte the english and maths part, but the reasoning i feel that hard.

i cleared some company process of rounds but not cleared all round finally, waiting for opportunities for clear all rounds.

i too didnt got placement yet and i am searching now in off campus. i have writtem companies like Perot Systems, Accenture, Talisma. but my bad luck, i have cleared aptitude tests in all and failed in technical interview.

if any one got placed plz tell ur experience, and how to prepare well for off campus. it would be useful to me and others who r seeking job.

atleast you passed the aptitude, i am unable to crack the aptitude itself

i can easily crack english and maths, but in reasoning, i need to work more on it. Guys please suggest resources/books for preparation of reasoning (analytical, etc etc).

My lecturer adviced me to prepare for the CAT aptitude. According to him, if we can crack that test, then we can crack any interview. I think he is right. What do you think?

Guys, for campus selection or offcampus, i usually prefer Aptitude book by R.S.Aggarwal. its a good source of information and easy understanding. what do u say?????

shakuntala devi puzzle book is also nice. but i heard that infosys use that type of questions most. but R.S.Aggarwal book is compactible for all easy learners. what do u say??? the book u suggested is excellent

Harshil try refering to any of the CAT Classes material... they have reasoning books also.. they are good... best is to solve some of the CAT papers..

I will have my placement next year by this time.....
My seniors are placed in TCS, Impetus, Patni.... and lot more.. so if you wana know about something, i will ask them...

This time the written exams were very easy...
there were 40 questions out of which 10 were of quant, and that too very easy optional answers questions...
from other maximum were of networking questions... Everyone was happy after the exam, but out of some 50-60 students they had shortlisted only 21 for interviews....
and from them they selected only 5 students this time...
4 from our college one from other college....

Most of the questions are from networking, even in the interview, so prepare that subject well...
