CRM contacts, synchronization works, but after effects RRS feed

  • CRM contacts, synchronization works, but after effects

In the last month, we've had a number of users that have their contacts and I mean all their created contacts synced to their outlook profile. The outlook filter is set to: If owner is %user% that the contacts synchronize with that particular user only. CRM works perfectly and...

..Now, the user has an approximate of 3967 contacts in their outlook. A little messy, but he desires to have no CRM contacts in his outlook. While maintaining the old ones he had in there that came from his cellphone.

Its been said to me that the contacts would automatically remove themselves from the Outlook when the filter were to be turned off. It does not. The contacts have merged themselves with his outlook.

Outlook 2007 with Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011 (5.0.9690.4156) (DB 5.0.9690.4156)

Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011 for Microsoft Office Outlook with Offline Access (5.0.9690.4150)

    The question:

Is it possible to still 'make' CRM take the contacts out of Outlook?

Or is it only possible to restore a prior version of bricklevel backup of contacts from a time back to resolve this issue?

    current situation:

Not changed anything from  default settings at this point I time, because other users do not have the issue.
