  • What do we do then?    Layman's terms please.  3 days of uncertainty makes me nervous of the stability of my **LEGIT** computer.  

    Rant to Microsoft over.....

  • If you are having trouble with the "windows not genuine" screen, I de-installed the updates from Dec. 10 and all seems ok now.

  • Using Internet Explorer, visit Validate Microsoft Windows and click on Validate Windows, then restart your PC.  Thank you!

    Thanks for your reply.   I uninstalled the patch KB3004394 on Wednesday before MS released details of the fix patch 3024777.   Can I ask did you only uninstall KB3004394 or all tues 10th updates ?

    Thanks for your reply, just ran Validate Windows from the link and the result was "your windows is genuine"  Hope that may have cured it, have to wait and see
