  • Hello fmenabo,

Both the Windows XP Pro and the Office Pro 2003 installed on your computer are reporting as Volume Licensing installations of these products.  The Windows Product Key is reporting as an Invalid Key meaning that it was made up by a pirating program called a Key Generator and was never issued by Microsoft, making it invalid.

If you are an individual consumer, you should be using either retail or OEM licensed software.  As a rule, individuals using Volume Licensing software are likely victims of software counterfeiting.

Please look on the computer or with the materials that came with your computer and/or software purchases for Certificate of Authenticity for Windows and Office.  Please view this website for assistance in identifying and locating your CoAs:   http://www.microsoft.com/howtotell/content.aspx?displaylang=en&pg=coa

Let us know what you find (but do NOT post any product keys).
