Visual Studio And C++ RRS feed

  • Helllo,

can anyone tell me if i am able to get Visual Studio to compile C++?

ok before you jump, read that line twice, and think this person needs quit now....
What i mean is get it to compile c++ not vc++
why? well i dont like having my users needing the visual c++ run time installed, thats there choice and im not going to force them if they want to use my software.
Basiclly it dosent matter if i dont use any visual c++ only code (im not even sure what the diffrence is) it always adds the msvc dependacy, as a result im currently using eclipse tho i do like the feel of the vs IDE much better.

    thank you.

You may post your issue on the Visual C++ General Forum or Visual C++ NewsGroup so you can get better and quicker response as this forum here is for the setup and installation of visual studio.
