  • what is the upgrade path from the MCDST?

    there used to be a path to the MCITP but that has expired.. where do you go now?

  • The typical path from MCDST is to get the MCITP: Enterprise Desktop Support Technician (Windows 7).

    There is an upgrade path available depending on the route you want to go.

  • If you login to the MCP portal you can view your Certification Planner which will give you details of what upgrade paths you can take.

  • Thank you. I'm looking at that. Its a bit depressing as there is no path to 2008. only to 2003 then possibly an upgrade from there.

    It looks like the MCDST Is not really much use when trying to get into the server 2008. Might as well start from scratch.
