Windows 7 -Disk Manager -shrink

    Question

  • Hi ,

I bought a laptop with os preloaded (windows 7-home premium(64 bit) ) just a month ago(320 GB hard disk).I had only one drive(c:) of 293 GB(free space 256 GB),where os resides.I decided to partition that drive and I used Disk manager in Control panel.

    I did,

1)right clicked  on the  partition of c: and selected shrink option

2)It said new partition of size 70 GB can be created and i clicked 'shrink' button.

    3)After shrinking c: info said 161 of 207 GB

    problem is that,

Where is that new partition created?(It is not visible in disk manager).

    Thanks in advance,
