CRM 2011 - "Email will be tracked in CRM after it is sent" NOT tracked in CRM 2011 RRS feed

    Did anyone encounter an issue below and have a solution for this?

    Description: When trying to track an email in Outlook before sent (or in draft mode - after saved) by doing these steps

    1-compose an email

    2-click on Track

    3-click on Set Regarding and select a record

    4-click on Send

    Below is an image after steps 1 to 3 are completed BEFORE SENT (note the message "This e-mail will be tracked in CRM after it is sent")

    Issue: Click on the Regarding record to go to this associated record. No email is track under the Activities (or Closed Activities) in the associated

    Other Info:

    This issue doesn't happen to all emails. Some invalid email addresses are still able to track

    We can track emails after sent without any problems

    We use CRM 2011 with Update Rollup 17

    Every time when this happens, this is the error in the Event Viewer in the Outlook client machine

    An error occurred while promoting a Microsoft CRM e-mail message.  Restart Microsoft Outlook and try again. HR=0x80042f0a. Context=. Function=CMailItemHelper::HrPromoteMailItemInCrm. Line=1821.

    I've just had a report of users with exactly the same issue as this. Did you ever get it resolved?
