Script Error in CRM 2011 IE10 RRS feed

  • Question

  • This script runs properly in IE9. In IE10 it functions properly, however if the field artworkduedate does not contain data it prevents the record from saving and closing. This does not happen in IE9.

    function updateSendEmail() {
        today = new Date();
        todayDate = today.setHours(0, 0, 0, 0);
        artDate = Xrm.Page.getAttribute("orbus_artworkduedate").getValue();
        artDue = artDate.setHours(0, 0, 0, 0);

        if (todayDate == artDue) {
            Xrm.Page.getAttribute("orbus_sendemail").setValue("1");

        }
    }

  • Hi,

    You can check the value of "orbus_artworkduedate" before setting as suggested by Jan AS. As far as the IE 10 issues are concerned have a look at the below links:-

    Hope this Helps!!

    Thanks,
