I signed up for the trial, and then inadvertently purchased a subscription. Now the trial has run out and will not let me activate my subscription, and I can not get a phone number of a live individual for help.
How did you inadvertently purchase a subscription and still have an expired trial?
If you have an active subscription shown when you sign in at http://billing.microsoft.com and you can't activate the copy on your PC because it has no activation/subscribe link, uninstall it and reinstall from http://onecare.live.com and then activate with your LiveID.
