The following error code 0xC004C4A8 means - Client does not have a valid license. Try Update your product key and try to validate the software again.Find the product key that was included with the copy of Windows 7 that is installed on the computer. You can find your product key on your computer or on the installation disc holder inside the Windows package.
• If you cannot find your product key, contact the store where you purchased Windows 7(or the computer, if it had Windows 7preinstalled), and ask them to help you locate the product key. • If you still cannot find your product key, you can purchase a new product key or purchase a Genuine copy of Windows 7from an authorized reseller.
Determine whether the product key that you found or purchased is for the same edition of Windows 7 that is currently installed on this computer. If the Windows 7 edition that is installed does not match the product key edition, a clean install of the system is required or you can purchase an update.Update the Windows product key on the computer.
• If the editions are the same and the product key is Genuine, follow these steps: a. Click the Start button. b. Right-click Computer , select Properties . c. In the prompt window, click the blue link under Windows activation . Enter your product key as prompted, and then press ENTER or click Continue . (Do not click Activate Windows online now .) When you have finished updating the product key, try to validate Windows again. To do this, visit http://ga.microsoft.com , and then click Validate Windows .

When it comes to Genuine issues, the error code 0xC004C4A8 basically just means Windows needs to be Activated.
The first thing I would suggest is attempting to Activate by Phone.
To Activate by Phone, click the Start button, and type: slui 4 in the search field and then press the "Enter" key. This will bring up the Activate by Phone dialog window. Follow the steps provided by the window.
When you first call the Activation Center, a automated phone prompt will answer and attempt to help you Activate. However, if the phone prompt is unable to get Windows activated, Recall, but this time either select the option to talk to a Live Activation Rep or (if there is no option) don't enter or say anything to the phone prompt, this will force it to transfer you to a Live Rep. The Rep will then assist you in activating your Windows.
If activating by phone doesn't resolve the issue, then attempt the steps that Jaclie1831 has provided.
Thank you,
