Single video session RRS feed

  • Question

  • I have a beginners question. We have installed OCS for the first time and single communicator sessions work well. However, when the user tries to establish a video session with a second concurrent user (invite someone else join) the first session is dropped. What are we missing here?

  • If you don't have all of the Front-End roles installed and running, which includes the Web Conferencing server role, then that behavior would match this scenario.  Two-party audio and video sessions are endpoint to endpoint communications, but 3 or more party communications require the Web Conferencing service to mix the audio/video into a single feed.

  • Can we get any more info on this - if you are still having an issue.

Is there an Edge Server deployed?  If not is the Edge Server settings configued?  Is this both 2 internal users?  So when escallating the IM conference to a AV call it fails?
