genuine validation failure out of nowhere.

Question
-
I believe this computer set-up has been operating as is for almost a year, with the exception of changing RAM. I had a similar event of this 'genuine windows validation failure' 4 or so months ago.
If there is any contributing issue, it could be that MS Security essentials removed an alleged security risk (java based) and after rebooting, per MS Security essentials requirement to complete removal, I get this Windows Not Valid issue.
Following is the required diagnostic report. Please suggest remedy to make this a 'genuine' windows machine again.

your report shows a couple of issues:
TTS Error: T:20121120162845296-
you have a trusted store tamper (11/20/2012 0 likely due to the malware you referenced. If you haven't already run a malware scan with malwarebytes or similar I suggest you do so.
Licensing Data-->
Software licensing service version: 6.1.7601.17514
Error: product key not found.looks like your licensing store is damaged.
Recreate the Licensing Store
1) Click Start button.
2) Type: CMD.exe into the 'Search programs and files' field
3) Right-Click on CMD.exe and select Run as Administrator
4) Type: net stop sppsvc (It may ask you if you are sure, select yes)
Note: the Software Protection service may not be running, this is ok.
5) Type: cd %windir%\ServiceProfiles\NetworkService\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\SoftwareProtectionPlatform
6) Type: rename tokens.dat tokens.bar
7) Type: cd %windir%\system32
8) Type: net start sppsvc
9) Type: slui.exe
10) After a couple of seconds Windows Activation dialog will appear. You may be asked to re-activate and/or re-enter your product key or Activation may occur automatically.
Reboot, then run MGADiag again, and post the report

To all who are or have considered answering to help me... I figured out where to enter my 'product key' again which resulted in a 'not a genuine copy of windows' message with a 'click here to resolve' button. When I clicked on that I was taken to a windows site, offering Security Essentials (etc.) and am apparently now 'activated' and 'genuine'.
I can only guess that whatever issue was removed (that Java threat?) by MS Security essentials my validation was removed with it.
Note, I now have lost all my email settings (Thunderbird) and who knows what else. I am just now going to try to use the computer again and shall find out.
Thanks again for your consideration and help,
Wayne
