Preparing to sit MCTS exam RRS feed

  • Question

  • I want to sit MCTS exam 70-448 before it expires 31/07/13.

Please tell me, what is the best way to prepare for this exam. Should I work my way through the training kit from start to finish, chapter by chapter. Or is it better to follow the exam objectives listed at the beginning of the book at tick each one off as I learn it.

This is the first Microsoft exam I will be sitting. I have been working in this area for the last six months and am familar with most aspects of the course, whereas some areas are new to me.

    Any advice is much appreciated.

Answers

  • Going through the training kit is more than enough.

Once you are familiar with the items listed in the exam objectives,

you are ready to appear to the exam.

  • I haven't read any of the SQL books, but the Server 2008 one's i've taken i usually read the book and mark pages / area's i feel are important and are explicitly laid out as an exam objective.

I then do the labs, then go back and review the sections i marked.
