Upgrade from Dynamics CRM 2011 online to Dynamics CRM 2013 online RRS feed

  • Hi All,

    I have a task to upgrade from Dynamics CRM 2011 online to Dynamics CRM 2013,

    in my CRM 2011 online there are have many custom with silverlight (.xap), what are the things that I must concerned for it? Is there have some issue like JS? and what should I do to my silverlight's custom is work well on CRM 2013 online?

  • Hi.

    I guess this will be the question that how you would want to use CRM 2013 online in the future.

    Silverlight apps will have issues when accessing from other browsers, tablet and app clients. If the Silverlight apps are essential to the business logic implemented, you will have to replace them to another form.

        SilverLight is not a problem with 2013 upgrade. Suggest using CRM 2013 javascript validation tool to validate all your JavaScripts as they all might not work as expected. Here is the link for the tool.

        Rest of the code should work as long as you do not have CRM 4.0 end point code. Here is the list of things to watch out for:
