How to reset a password if you know your user name but forgot which email you used to register it with?

Question
-
Hi my original forum name is c627627 and I cannot log into my account because you cannot log into the forums with a screen name but only with an email and it's been a few years since I opened the account and cannot remember which email I used to register. Could you send a password reset request to my screen name's email?

I wrote the email and password I used, which with a 100% certainty
Since you now know the microsoft account logon I'd chat or email support using the links at page bottom to recover.

I know has been deactivated because the login here said "That Microsoft account doesn't exist. Enter a different account or get a new one." So they do deactivate email accts.
I don't think that is returned from forums.

If the MSDN/TechNet forums profile had been deactivated then activity here would be blank.

The MSDN TechNet forums use a microsoft account for authentication. If you have lost the password you can work through this one.

you can also chat or email support using the links at page bottom.

Right, but all those links still require the registration email, they do not ask if you know your user name but forgot registration email.
They assume that people only forget their password and not the other way around, that people forget which email they used. Even the first two characters of the email would help with this.

How many do you have?? You could try asking fissues but they may be reluctant to give that out for security reasons. fissues [at] microsoft [dot] com

I guess a reasonable amount of work and personal emails over a period of twenty years, for a person active on various forums who didn't want to share his main email on every forum he signed up.
This I am trying to do strictly for forum posting here, not for anything else. It's not that big of a deal I'll just use a different account. But over the years I was actually forced to open new accts to post here because of this problem and last time I did so, I wrote the email and password I used, which with a 100% certainty I know has been deactivated because the login here said "That Microsoft account doesn't exist. Enter a different account or get a new one." So they do deactivate email accts.
Maybe they did so with whatever email I used, but my posts from 10+ years ago stand.
But either way, is it unreasonable to remember your user name but forget the email? I mean we can enter ANY email and the reset request WILL BE sent to that email. But we cannot enter a user name and do the same?
In *both* cases you must have actual access to that email to do anything or even to find out which email it is.
