I am running Windows XP Professional with Service Pack 3 on a Pent 4, 3.06Ghz, 1gig Ram machine and only recently I have begun getting the following message when shutting down the PC. I do not recall installing any software recently or changing any setting's. 1. A window popup appears. and says The instruction at 0x0012e7e0 Referenced Memory at 0x7c809ad0 The Memory cannot be written Click OK to terminate the program Click cancell to debug the brogram
I clicked cancell several times but it still appears every time I shutdown. What would be the best forum to post this question as I have feel I have tried everything and read everything I could find on the net relating to this error and need it fixed as it prevents my system from fully shutting down each time.
