Using Powershell to delimit a file by a specific header RRS feed

  • General discussion

  • Hello, I have a CSV file with file paths are on the same line separated by a semicolon. I would like to import that file into powershell, separate the path after the semicolon to a new row, and export back out of powershell. Any suggestions on how I can perform this task based on column header?

  • You will have to use "-split" on the line in the file to c4reate an array that can be output to a file as rows.

  • Please provide a sample input and output. Usually I would recommend Import-Csv.
