Mail merge on Word 2003 RRS feed

  • I have Microsoft Dynamics CRM 4.0

    When I try to do mail merge on Word 2003 it always give me the message

                   In Microsoft Office Word 2007, the CRM button appears on either the Add-ins tab or the Mailings tab, depending on the mail merge template you selected.

    However, I am  not using Word 2007 and I can't find the CRM button. How can I enable it on Word 2003?

    Thank you for the details. Please apply update rollup 3 OR 4 on your MS CRM server and client and it will resolve the issue. "Run-time error '5941': The requested member of the collection does not exist"

  • In Word 2003 you should get a "Security Warning" dialog.  You need to check the "Always trust macros", this will enable the "Enable Macros" button which allows the content to be displayed.  After the macro is enabled, you can then run the macro by clicking the "CRM" icon in the Word tool bar.

  • Hi Hassan

    I do not get a security warning dialog. I only did
    1. On the Tools menu, click Options.
    2. Click the Security tab.
    3. Under Macro Security, click Macro Security.
    4. Click the Security Level tab, and then select the security level you want to use.

    Also I do not see the CRM button on word

    ANy help is appreciated

  • I select the marketing list members and click on mail merge
    Select labels and data fields and as soon as I press ok i get the word document with the information described in my first msg

    Somehow I got the CRM button to appear, however, labels do not work and give me now an error on Application.Dialogs.Item(wdDialogLabelOptions).Show


    Runtime error 5941
    the requested member of the selection doesn't exists

    and this happens even if I select only one field that I know exists for sure
