  • Question

  • In the event logs they can be separated into different types of events depending upon what you are looking for.

Almost always the significant events are in the system-events.

Most of the time application-events or pnp-events are not needed.

In the technet forum on threads an administrative command prompt command is used to collect multiple computer files.  Among these files are the event viewer system-events.

If this administrative command prompt command is of use then indicate in the thread that you would like this command.  It can then be posted.

  • A question was asked for clarification of what the OP needed.

The question was marked as answered and your response is not even close to an answer to the question.  Please take some time to try and understand the question technically and don't just post canned and unhelpful answers.  You have been doing this regularly across many forums.  It will not get you any attention that you want.

  • If the question were understood there would have been an answer, no answer, or a question for clarification.

For the above OP a question was posted.

You have much more experience than me so you may assume that others have your knowledge.

    There were no canned answers.

The intent was to offer help to the OP.
