Exam 70-680 Study: Dumb things you've done while imaging a workstation RRS feed

  • General discussion

  • We all learn through our mistakes and the challenges we overcome:

    I'm curious to know what troubles others have had with the image-deployment/imag-capturing process.

    I'll start out with a couple of my own;

    1)I accidentally added imagex to the capture media rather than the capture image and couldn't figure out why it was nowhere on drive X:

    2)Forgetting to run bcdboot after applying an image.

    Share your stories or your tips on what to (not) do when you encounter a ghost.

  • Sorry 'bout that. I was posting this in relation to my studies for 70-680. I figured that a colloquial styling would be more appealing and that a discussion format would allow people to share their experiences with this topic as well as providing tips and guidance.

    I'm more used to the Cisco forums where there's a lot of back and forth.

  • Sorry but you didn't mention anywhere in your original post that it had anything to do with 70-680 or certification.  I will move your post back to the original forum.
