XML error

Question
-
I get the following error when trying to view modules in each online course I've tried. Things work fine offline but I can't do labs that way.
"The following file could not be loaded by the XML Parser: viewer/LMS/LMSDataModel.xml.
No data is available for the requested resource."
Can anyone recommend a fix?
Thanks.Wednesday, April 16, 2008 1:17 AM

Hi,
Are you saying you can't do the labs offline?
If so, that's a feature of the e-learning.
The labs can only be accessed online, via your browser.
If your problem relates to an issue online I guess you'll need to provide more info such as the course you were using, steps to repro the error and text of the error message. Then the folks that know will be able to help.

I get the error whenever I try to access any module online. First a small window appears saying it is loading the viewer- then another window with the error message and I can go no further. Course 5079 is the current problem. Course 5084 does the same thing.Monday, May 5, 2008 1:46 AM

I'm having the same exact problem. Just brought the course home today. Will email you now, Alicia.

I was also getting the same error message. I changed the following registry key and the E-Learning viewer started working.
Go to:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings
Change the value of DisableCachingOfSSLPages to 0
Always back up your registry before making any changes. Hope that helps.

Thanks, that helped me to view my courses. But what are the implications of enabling "CachingOfSSLPages"? Is there a security risk in doing this?Sunday, July 3, 2011 3:05 PM
