Wrong Lab Content Course 6655: Configuring and Hosting Windows Communication Foundation Services

Question

Hi,
I'm trying to complete "Course 6655: Configuring and Hosting Windows Communication Foundation Services", I accessed the lab "6655AE Lab: Configuring and Hosting a WCF Service" and the setup files are not there.
The second task for this lab indicates "If you are using Microsoft Visual C#® development tool, browse to the E:\Labfiles\Starter\CS\Ex1\ConnectedWCF folder, and then double-click the ConnectedWCF.sln file." However, this folder does not exist, it has some other files inside the E:\Labfiles\Starter\CS, it has another project named ContosoMedical.
I had a similar problem on the course 6654 where the Database was not in place.
Is this the correct place to report this error? I want to advance in my training and I'm stuck here.Monday, July 28, 2008 10:18 PM

Hi There-

I am having the same issue.
It is impossible to do the lab until the correct files are put on the machine.Thursday, September 4, 2008 12:57 PM -
Alicia,
This problem has still not been resolved.
Placing the correct files on a virtual machine should be a trivial task.Friday, September 5, 2008 5:19 PM -
Alicia,
Is there any way that we may contact somebody directly or is this the only way to get support? My issue has been open for almost two months with no progress on it.Regards,
Gilberto

I have called support and explained the issue. I have sent them screen captures showing the wrong files on the machine. Nothing. So, I asked for a refund, at which point they said they would "escalate" the issue. It has been over a week since the escalation, and still no change.
So, I apparently have no choice but to get the refund, which I will be doing this Monday. Unbelievable.Sunday, September 21, 2008 1:51 AM -
Thanks everyone for alerting us to this issue. We are working on the fix to the course with the production vendor. I expect the problem will be resolved by sometime next week, after which I will post again to this thread. My apologies for the delay!
