Double check "who" is running the service. Then  verify that this service has full access to the C:\Porgram Files\Webguide folder

I would also double check your IIS setup by using Remote Desk Top and IIS snap in.

Make sure the user who is running the service has permissions to the webshare.

  • I had the same problem and once I ran the configuration wizard it fixed it.  The only problem afterwards was it left the old link on my home page.

You can fix that pretty easily without having to modify the XML manually.

  • Do you have any other add-ins loaded? Specifically the Whiist add-in? I was have issues with WebGuide and it turned out the Whiist add-in was affecting the link to WebGuide.
