Double check "who" is running the service. Then verify that this service has full access to the C:\Porgram Files\Webguide folder
I would also double check your IIS setup by using Remote Desk Top and IIS snap in.
Make sure the user who is running the service has permissions to the webshare.

I had the same problem and once I ran the configuration wizard it fixed it. The only problem afterwards was it left the old link on my home page.Monday, January 14, 2008 1:02 AM

You can fix that pretty easily without having to modify the XML manually.

Do you have any other add-ins loaded? Specifically the Whiist add-in? I was have issues with WebGuide and it turned out the Whiist add-in was affecting the link to WebGuide.
