How do I buy a product key for my non-genuine version of Windows 7? RRS feed

    I have windows 7, build 7001 and constant reminders that it's not genuine.  It was on my laptop when I bought it second hand.  How do I activate this version or do I have to buy and download and install a complete new windows 7 image?

    The only version of Microsoft Windows 7 sold today is Windows 7 Professional which you can purchase here. A "clean install" will be required as this is the best option after acquiring a used PC since you do not know if the PC has been infected with viruses or other malicious malware.
