    Can anyone explain to me why the app pool and web deployment service accounts need admin rights within the operating system on the SQL server?  If CRM is doing something outside of SQL, I will consider dedicating a SQL server to it instead of co-locating it on a shared server.  Any information is much appreciated.

    It looks like these rights are only required on the server running SQL Server Reporting Services, not on the database server.  The environment I'm installing in has SSRS running on a separate server, so the permissions were granted there.
