    Hi iodine58,

    I'm little confused about your problem. 

    Where you hear the music? From an UWP app or somewhere else? 

    Are you developing an UWP app and using Background Media PlayBack capability?

    Hi iodine58,

    If you are not writing an Application then you likely want to look for answers on Answers.Microsoft.com. This forum is "MSDN" or Microsoft Developer Network so answers here will be targeted to software developers rather than folks using the software.

    If you are writing the application, you will have to call an API to play the sound.
