  • My computer keeps saying this copy of windows is not genuine. I tried a lot of different things posted on the Microsoft website, but I still don't know what is wrong. I ran the diagnostic thing. Here it is:

  • the key in use is the blacklisted Lenovo key. this key was blacklisted before windows 7 was released and has never been sold. Your install was done using a hackers loader program as evidenced by a HP slic table on a dell computer.

you will have to purchase and install genuine windows or revert to the windows your computer came with.

your office is also not genuine.

  • When I buy windows, should i but the full version or the upgrade version?

    Monday, October 8, 2012 12:18 PM
  • I suggest the full version.

an upgrade requires a qualifying license. you would have to reinstall your vista, activate it and then do the upgrade.
