Supressing a pause command in a bat file in a HPC job RRS feed

    Hi, I am trying to CALL a BAT that contains a pause command. HPC is fail job at the Pause command prolly due to no human action.

    Is there a way I can suppress the Pause command in my CALL statement?

    I could rewrite the bat file but do not want multiple versions of the bat file out there. The pause command is used for none HPC users.

    Hi,

    I think to avoid having 2 versions of your script you can modify it, so it will be checking if it is running as Windows HPC task. There are some environment variables, which are being set for every HPC task, while it is running, for example CCP_JOBID and CCP_TASKID. You can check for their presence and call 'pause' only if they're not set.
