[CRM 2011] Perform Action when workflow execution is complete via JavaScript RRS feed

    I have a scenario which is as follows

    From the Ribbon Bar, user clicks on a button which executes a workflow, I want to refresh the entity form when the workflow has finished it's execution. Is there any way, supported or unsupported which would allow me to do this.

    Any pointers would really help.

    You might be able to check the system job and keep retrieving it until it is completed...

    However a much tidier solution would be to substitute the workflow for a plugin. Simply add a new hidden 'two options' field to your form and have the ribbon button javascript set that field and save the form. Plugin fires on change of that field and performs your logic. Form reloads naturally after the save event (and after the plugin) and all is well.
