crm 2011 outlook 2010 errors and ribbon disabled RRS feed

    We applied crm 2011 rollup 4 and now everytime you access a page in crm thru outook, or leave crm in outlook a generic error message pops up 'Microsoft Dynamics CRM has encountered an error', and the ribbon on the leads page is disabled.  I tried deleting/redoing configuration.  Any ideas?

    Hi Susan,

    Have you tried running the outlook client diagnostics tool and check if something needs attention and autofix.

    Finally, you can do a complete uninstall and re-install of the CRM outlook client and re-apply the rollups and check!

    Tried your suggestions, did not correct.  However, I have narrowed it down to JUST the leads form - anytime you enter or exit it throws an error and the ribbon remains disabled.  The only thing about this form that we have done is a Workflow that is on the New event.  This workflow has been running for years, and it does not cause any issues through the browser.  Is there an issue with CRM 2011 or Rollup 4 and workflows in the outlook client?

    I was wrong, it is not only the Leads form - it is any form.
