Tracking Incoming Emails from Multiple Email Accounts with the Outlook MS Dynamics CRM 2011 Client RRS feed

  • My Outlook is set up with multiple email accounts-a couple from 1and1 and my gmail. What I want to know is if the Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011 Online Outlook Client will automatically track any inbound email from a CRM Acct, contact, or Lead no matter which email address it was sent to (one of the 1and1s or gmail was the recipient). My client "Joe" may send emails to my gmail or my work mail, which are both set up in my Outlook. Will all of those emails be tracked, regardless of the email address it was sent to? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  • Hi John,

    Only items in your default Outlook store (mailbox) can be tracked in CRM. Try creating forwarding rules from your other mailboxes to your default store. You should find that you can then track the forwarded mail items.
