Question

If I try to reply, one of two things may happen:
1) In Opera 12: the reply textbox appears, and I can type a reply. But hitting the Reply button does absolutely nothing. No error, no wait time, no loading, ab-so-lute-ly nothing.
2) In Firefox 30: it reloads the page when I click any of the Reply links. The textbox never appears.
It works in Chrome. But my browser is Opera for proper websites, Firefox for broken websites. I hate Chrome.

Can anyone verify in Firefox 30 or Opera 12?
Until then, Thany, you can send an email to fissues at Microsoft and see what they say. They can say whether those browsers are supported.
Thanks!

Same issue/errors as before?
I gave up on FireFox after they shoved the Chrome interface down our throats, I use Pale Moon now and it works perfectly fine for me.

Wow yeah, it's the same error. In Opera at least. How absolutely amazing of Microsoft that they can't get that error out the way. Should be peanuts for a bunch of skilled programmers like them.
In Firefox, I do get an error, now that I'm looking at it once more:
Not too helpful, I realize that. But this is truly all it gives me.
Here's the error in Opera, which is actually the exact same error, only much more verbose.
I'm sure the guys at Redmond can fix this. I, as a developer, would be more than eager to get my site actually working. But hey, that's just me ;)

It has little to do with browser support. Opera doesn't have problems so big that it generates these kinds of errors while other browsers don't. Any browser, under the right circumstances, can generate such errors, because looking at the error, it is *completely* understandable that the (or any) javascript engine chokes on it.
Just look at it. A bloody syntax error!
