MCITP-EA Status not showing on my transcript RRS feed

  • Question

  • I just completed these two exams as at Friday 19th April 2013;
    70-647 and 70-649.
    However, the MCITP-EA status is not showing on my transcript a week later.
    Do advise.

    Dear Havenoon

    Keeping up your Microsoft Certifications can help you to prove and show your technology skills to the world, and to further develop your professional career. In this email we send you an update on your status within a potentially relevant Certification path for you.

    According to our records, you are currently only 2 Microsoft exams from acquiring your certification: MCITP: Enterprise Administrator. It concerns the following 2 exams:
    70-649: Upgrading Your MCSE on Windows Server 2003 to Windows Server 2008
    70-647: Windows Server 2008 Enterprise Administrator
    To prepare you could decide to register for 6417B: Updating your Applications Infrastructure Skills to Windows Server 2008.

    We wish you good luck with these final steps to a valuable new Certification.

    Best regards,

    Microsoft Learning EMEA

    *: We only advise Professional level Certifications (MCITP and MCPD) and always the shortest path;
    **: When 2 potential paths are the same effort in number of exams, we advise the latest technology by default.

  • You mentioned taking exam 70-649, which is the upgrade exam from MCSE-2003. If did not previously have the MCSE 2003 certification, then the upgrade exam does not grant you the new certification. Maybe this is the reason why the MCITP is not showing on your transcript?
