Replaced Synctoy 2 with 1.4

Question
-
I have decided that I just cannot live with version 2 - to be polite it just does not work for me, whereas version 1.4 (fortunately still available on the WEB, although not microsoft) does all I need.
... and NO 2.0 doesn't work any better on Windows 7 that super update to Vista

Hi -
We have not had users report issues on 1.4 but we have internally not tested this. If you go with using 1.4 - please test it before you use it on a regular basis.
Thanks

Tony, if you see this, saying you don't like it doesn't actually help the people trying to fix problems and just creates thread clutter. Be as specific as you possibly can about why v2 doesn't work for you. For example, was it the speed issue discussed on the thread at http://social.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/synctoy/thread/973ef8af-a1b1-475b-a104-137968a5bab3 or something else?Monday, August 24, 2009 4:42 AM

I am on GMT+1
My PC work drive is the master in any pairing, although occasionally networked drives may for production/Sharing with other users reasons have the latest file
1.4 copies between my work drive on the PC and my networked drives without any problems correctly seeing which is the older version.
Version 2 for some reason always thinks the networked drives are on GMT and therefore tries to copy everything again.
It does not matter what drive I have, if it is on the network the problem occurs.Monday, August 24, 2009 4:07 PM
