How to remove a partition on XP laptop? RRS feed

  • Question

  • When I set up Dell Laptop running XP a couple years ago, I divided the C: drive into two partitions, thinking it might be easier to keep track of files and to utilize E: drive for archives.  Now she is bumping against space on C: drive with 15GB, and we are not using the E: drive.  I thought I had formatted both as FAT drives, but the computer shows E: drive as raw unformatted.

How can I proceed to clean up the organization of hard drive for continued usefulness of her laptop, before we have to migrate to Windows 7?  (ps. also connect to NetMagic home network with my two computers)
