  • Question

  • Dear all,

    I have a small query.

    Can anyone help me please??

I am planning to deploy CRM 2011 on premise at a client site to be access over internet.

My client already has a dynamic website which is being hosted remotely by a third party hosting services and the website provide regiatration from public.

What I want is to integrate the crm 2011 with the website, that is when a user is being registerd thro' the website, a record is automatically created in the crm application.

    Is that possible??

If yes, can you please guide me.

    Many Thanks

    Regards

  • The external connector adds no technology to the mix; it is just a license. It entitles you to allow external people to access CRM data via the web service layer. Leon Tribe

  • Hi Vinay,

Yes it is absolutely possible and quite common. Your best bet for understanding how to do it would be the SDK (http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/gg309408.aspx).

As long as CRM is exposed to the internet, you should be fine.
