  • Question

  • Hi,

I was experimenting with Project Server 2010, i have some video tutorials that i have tried on my Virtual mashine, they worked great, when i installed it on a physical machine, creating timesheets always returned the following error:

    Error
    An unexpected error has occurred.

Troubleshoot issues with Microsoft SharePoint Foundation.

    Correlation ID: c6c60bfb-95f6-4403-9aaf-eb5054c604a7

i tried running the the setup again with the "repair" option, it did not work
i tried running the sharepoint configuration wizard, it also did not work
:S i am not sure what is going wrong.
    Regards
    Ray

Are there any time periods created in the system at this point?

  • Hi friends...

This issue occurs if the name of the computer on which Project Server is installed contains an underscore character (_).

You can fix this following the instructions of this KB: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/953435

The instructions for Project Server 2010 is slightly different, but it works fine!

    Kind regards,
