Importing Cases that are resolved

Question

Dynamics 2011 - Importing existing cases from another product. Cases are importing correctly, except for resolved cases. Am setting Status to Resolved and Status Reason to Problem Solved.
Either get an error that the State Code is invalid. Or the record imported, but the State could not be changed. Use the CloseIncidentRequest message instead. I could not find that message.

You could set up a dummy attribute on the case record and set up a workflow on create which checks for the attribute and sets the state accordingly.

I am able to change the state to Problem Solved.
But it doesn't actually "resolve" the case.

Does the workflow 'change status' step not do the job?
