this copy of windows is not genuine (but it is)

Question
-
my system ran some microsoft updates and now i have this message at the bottom right hand corner of my desktop:
"Windows Vista (TM)
Build 6002
This copy of Windows is not genuine"
i have had this computer for approximately 4 years. its all genuine. i upgraded almost immediately upon purchasing the computer from vista home to windows vista ultimate straight from the microsoft online store. so everything is 100% genuine. it has not been in a repair shop or "restored" or anything like that.
this message just magically appeared one day after the last microsoft update.
here is the validation information:

There's no obvious errors in your report- although you did have a problem back in July last year (an In-Memory Mod-Auth tamper).
Did running the tool perchance clear the notification? (it does have very limited repair capabilitites)
