crm 2013 with windows 2000 nivative mode active directory RRS feed

  • Question

  • hello,

In the planning guide, it's said that AD service forest and domain functional levels should be:

    • Windows Server 2003 Interim
    • Windows Server 2003 Native

Mine is set as windows 2000 native mode but I could still run CRM 2013.

Is it a big issue and at which level?

What kind of errors could it generate if I keep it like this on a production environment?

    Thanks!

  • I think the point is that Windows 2000 levels are not supported by Microsoft - meaning they haven't taken the time to test so there really isn't a way to predict what errors it may cause. Your best bet would be to upgrade to a supported level - that way if you do run into problems later you will be able to leverage support.
