Why won't WGA get off of my computer?! (Windows 7)

Question
-
I have tried all of the methods for removing WGA. I've attempted to remove it via the command line, with registry editor and windows explorer, with 3rd party software, etc. Here is my problem: there are NO traces of WGA on my computer, yet I get all of the messages and the black desktop anyway. Every time I follow the instruction to remove it, I get stuck when it comes time to locate ANY file with WGA in the title (and I assure you I am not just going through the files wrong--THEY AREN'T THERE!!). How can I make this stop and finally get rid of these "Windows Not Genuine" messages and black desktop? It's driving me nuts!Saturday, January 1, 2011 6:45 AM
