  • Hi Fernando, Hi Alberto,

I became curious about ""You should be able to find your MCP ID in the printed report that you get after you finish each exam" comment. I checked a recent report of mine and I found the Prometric Id number on it.

I suggest Fernando to connect (Call or mail) with Regional Support Center. Please begin at: http://www.microsoft.com/learning/en/us/help/assisted-support.aspx. I suggest to have at hand:

    a) Some of your last exam results,

    b) promertric ID(s)

    c) a Windows Live o a Hotmail account as passport account to further acccess to MCP site.

You should get your MCP ID once you pass your first Microsoft Exam, but it could be an issue of  misregistration, so the ID might get non delivery, I suppose. If you generate or have multiple Prometric IDs so you have multiple MCP IDs. In this last case, you must have copies of all your exams and to be prepared to submit them to RSC to consolidate them.

You might get the certfications you mentioned but they may be scatered in various MCP IDs. Once you get the consolidation, you'll get the access to MCP site (with your Live?Hotmail ID) and have access to your transcript.

    Best Regards,

    Alfredo Arizaleta

  • You should be able to find your MCP ID in the printed report that you get after you finish each exam. The MCP ID is a 7-digit number printed at the top of the page.

I hope that you don't mean the "MCP Wallet Card". Years ago, you got one of these cards, along with a printed certificate, in the welcome kit that was mailed to you after you achieved a certification. Microsoft stopped mailing these welcome kits a long time ago.
